- RADIAL NERVE PARALYSIS - DUDA – Dog, Female, Age: 8 months, Breed French Bulldog -
When it was about 4 months old, after a trauma, the animal had to be subjected to surgery to fix a fractured elbow.
After this surgery and after 4 months of physical therapy, including electrical stimulation, the animal continued to have paralysis of the Right Forelimb, had absent reflexes on neurological examination and did not support that member during locomotion.
Duda had 10 sessions of Acupuncture and Electroacupuncture, in a range of 6 and a half months, after stopping the physical therapy.
At the end of the treatment the animal was moving smoothly and with nice balance and reflexes when neurological examination were already fully recovered.
