- RECURRENT GASTRIC EXPANSION - RITA – Dog, Female, Age: 11 years, Breed: French Mastiff -
About 2 years before coming to the acupuncture consultation, the animal had a gastric torsion and had to be subjected to a gastropexy.
Before the 1st session of Acupuncture and for nearly two months, every day the animal was quite exuberant gastric dilatation without being able to discover a possible cause and not able to stop this situation.
Rita had 7 sessions of acupuncture and moxibustion, in a range of 2 months
Right from the days after the 1st session of Acupuncture that gastric dilatation were becoming progressively smaller and were no longer in a daily frequency to start to be gradually less frequent, and at the end of treatment the animal had no gastric dilatations for at least 1.5 months.
