- SPINAL CORD COMPRESSION– CERVICAL-WOBBLER SYNDROME (nonsurgical treatment) - PACO – Dog, Male, Age: 1,5 years, Breed: Pug -
The animal had a presumptive diagnosis of Spinal Cord Compression between C5-C7, presenting with ataxia of 4 members, with delay of Hindlimbs proprioceptive reflex, preventing cervical dorsal extension for apparent pain.
Paco did 4 sessions of Acupuncture and Electroacupuncture, in a range of 1 month, in addition to allopathic Treatment.
At the end of the treatment the animal moved smoothly with a standard balance, had no apparent cervical pain and neurological reflexes were already entirely or predominantly recovered.
