- INAPPETENCE / LACK OF APPETITE - PÓ – Dog, Male, Age: 4 years, Breed: Portuguese Water Dog -
Pó, a Portuguese Water Dog, is a stallion and frequenter of race competitions.
He had a poor appetite as the main "complaint" of the owners, having less energy than usual, being a little too aggressive with other male dogs.
Acupuncture was performed in selected points of treatment sessions lasting about 20 minutes each.
4 sessions were done on a weekly basis, then a session was performed after 15 days and a last session after 1 month.
Sessions lasted for 2 months.
After the first session the animal was quieter but still had no appetite.
After the second session and till the end of the treatment Pó already had appetite, always eating everything offered to him and had more energy.
